HÖYTIÄISEN TUPA

A cosy summer terrace with alcohol serving rights located in Kontio­lahti harbour on the shores of Lake Höytiäinen. Our offerings include grilled food, ice creams and cold drinks. We sell fishing permits for Lake Höytiäinen and rent mountain bikes and sup-boards. The popular harbour flea market is held every Monday at 16:00 during the summer. Enter­tain­ment at weekends. SINKKONEN BERRY FARM /STRAWBERRY CAFE

Located a 20 minutes’ drive from Joensuu, Sinkkonen Berry Farm offers a genuine farm experience. Our straw­berry cafe will open in mid-June. In addition to pastries, a wide variety of farm products (berries, potatoes and peas) is also on sale. When visiting the local market, do not forget our marma­lade products or straw­berry lemonade. Kempin mutka is a cosy cafe radia­ting the atmosp­here of the 1950s where time stands still and classic hits are played. The period is not only reflected in the music but also in interior decora­tion, baked products and the small-scale programme offerings. The renovated summer cafe run by two young entrepre­neurs is located in a magni­ficent river setting in Paihola, surrounded by a variety of diffe­rent activi­ties.
