Local heritage centre
The sauna at the Kotiseutukeskus local heritage centre is an excellent choice for meetings, recreational events or a sauna experience! The sauna is large enough for 8–12 people, and we can arrange to provide an evening snack or dinner in the adjoining room.
The sauna is a log building in the yard of the local heritage centre, and it was built according to the model of a sauna located in Uilo in the village of Jakokoski. It takes several hours to heat this historical sauna, but once it reaches the right temperature the warmth will last until the next morning. The benches are located high up in the sauna, and water is poured over the rocks through a pipe.
