We’re also part of Kontiolahti’s Sauna World!
The sauna at the KotiseuÂtuÂkeskus local heritage centre is an excelÂlent choice for meetings, recreaÂtional events or a sauna experience! The sauna is large enough for 8–12 people, and we can arrange to provide an evening snack or dinner in the adjoiÂning room.
The sauna is a log building in the yard of the local heritage centre, and it was built accorÂding to the model of a sauna located in Uilo in the village of Jakokoski. It takes several hours to heat this histoÂrical sauna, but once it reaches the right tempeÂraÂture the warmth will last until the next morning. The benches are located high up in the sauna, and water is poured over the rocks through a pipe.
