First snow ski trail is open!
From 23.12.2024, the first snow ski trail will be free for everyone for the rest of the season 2024–2025. Welcome!
- Trails are open daily 8.30–21.00.
- Skijoring with dogs: Mon, Wed-Sun 20.00–21.00
- Lights will be switched off daily at 21.00
First snow ski trail — season 2025–2026
The first snow season for 2025–2026 will open on Friday 17.10.2025!
Tickets will be sold via Lippu.fi. Season tickets will be on sale from 19.5.2025.

Young people aged 13 and under can ski free of charge on the first snow ski trail.

Prices include VAT (14 %). Certain company card packages include participation into the First snow ski trail name draw. The name of the winning company will be used of the First snow ski trail for the duration of the season.
Kontiolahti first snow ski trail: facts
- Trail length at opening is approx. 1.5 km
- Additional trails will open in October-November, extending the trail length to 3–4 km
- Several competition trails of 2–7.5 km and easy 10–20 km training trails will open when permitted by natural snow
- A versatile trail profile offers options for recreational and competitive skiing
- The ski trails are 89–129 m above sea level
- After the season opening, tracks are available daily except during maintenance periods and competitions
