Wanha Mesta Guesthouse is located in Kontioniemi by the Kontionpolku trails 2.5 kilometres from the Kontiolahti biathlon stadium. Come to stay with us, hold a summer party at Wanha Mesta Guesthouse or drop by to take a look at our museum. We have a wood-fired sauna for 14 persons, and a summer kitchen and a grill are also available to our customers. Traditional cuisine for private events is created by the local catering service Menna.
The Wanhan Mesta wood-heated sauna has space for up to 14 people. There is no shower in the facilities – water is heated in a pot and basins are available for washing.
The sauna can be rented with different services and content and in connection with accommodation. The renter is responsible for heating the sauna. For a separate fee, renters can also arrange for the sauna to be heated in advance and towels can be rented on site.
